Awesome playbook

This book really hit home for me. I didn’t even realize how many toxic patterns I’d picked up over time until I started reading it. The tips are super practical and easy to try out, and it’s written in a way that feels like a friend is guiding you. I’ve already noticed a difference in how I handle conflict and communicate. Honestly, it’s one of the most helpful self-growth books I’ve read in a while.

Useful tool

I got this book to try to think through what a close family member is going through currently. It really has helped me understand better the cycle of toxic behavior and how to deal better with it. I really liked the section on interrupting negative self talk before it spirals out of control. This kind of small shift can reframe a conversation or thought process to make the end result better for everyone. The book is narrated in an empathetic and relatable tone, I even caught myself taking some notes for some behaviors of my own that need to be brought into check.

This could change your personal and work life.

I found this book to be easy to identify with. That's me he's talking about! I wish someone had told me how I was acting and sounding a long time ago. I am sure that it would have made a huge difference for both me and my employees. I also could hear myself thinking about other people in my life as I listened. The author provided very actionable ideas and techniques for helping yourself. I especially liked the idea of getting honest feedback from friends where they could actually help you 'hear' yourself and help you modify your message and behavior. Self-care is covered very well including nutrition, sleep and overall well-being.

The narrator was fantastic. I never got bored or distracted. The hours flew by quickly. Grab this Book! I'm excited for it to change your life.

A Refreshing Look at Personal Growth

This book really made me take a step back and reflect on some habits I hadn’t even realized were toxic. One part that stood out to me was the section on self-reflection through journaling—I started doing the writing exercises, and it helped me see my reactions in a whole new light. I also shared some of the conflict resolution strategies with my daughter, who was struggling with a friendship, and she said it helped her approach the situation differently.

Good book

This book does not just talk about toxic behavior, but also how to change them.

It covers good topics such as setting boundaries, stopping toxic texting and passive aggressive. The self-reflection exercise are good; they really got me thinking! also the no phone rule is something that I definitely needs to look into.
I highly recommend this book if you are looking to improve how you intereact with others.
