This is a extraordinary fun book. My spouse and I listened to the Audible model whilst traveling. The creator gives some very helpful, handy to apprehend recommendations for speaking with and influencing human beings in a very beneficial manner. The thoughts are clear, and the aiding illustrations are fascinating and enjoyable. I observed that some of the different opinions provide the e book a decrease ranking due to the fact the illustrations are incredibly dated - however we did now not discover this a problem. It's a splendid e book to hear and find out about to enhance your relationships with others.

A lot of good tips. Not the most interesting book I’ve listened to but self-improvement rarely is. This is the second book by this author I’ve listened to and I liked this narrator more than the last one.

No matter what an author wants to claim, nothing in life—even conversation tips—are fail proof. A certain amount of hubris comes with that statement. This audiobook turned me off pretty quickly, as it felt as if the author was blaming and shaming the reader for their difficulties talking with anyone. Such a wrong-headed attitude for a self-help book, which should convey compassion. The book does have some good tips for approaching people to talk to, initiating a conversation, and keeping the conversation going, but you have to put up with the smug attitude to mine for any gems. There are scads of books on this topic out there; I suggest finding a less condescending one.

Didn’t Like the Smug Blaming & Shaming
