Cave is meticulous and specific, rooting his theories in literary, spiritual, and ethical references. Great narrator for what can at times be very dry material. I'm not a student anymore at university but it felt like a book I'd have used to inform my work. Thorough and well thought out. I enjoyed it from beginning to end.
