Major Pet Peeve..

I just loose all immersion when authors of this type of action, thriller, military, spy etc book refers to weapon magazines as "clips". For one its basically a hold over from world war 2 and earlier, at which time several weapons/systems made use of an actual ammunition clip to simplify/speed up the reloading of both internal and external magazines.
So literally only antiques or rather odd firearms actually still make use of any clips.
Due to this transitional issue there was certain slang usage where magazines at times where referred to as clips by US troops like around the WW2 period..

Anyway what I am trying to say is that clips are not magazines and if one is going to write books in certain genres it imo behoves authors to get things right. Especially simple things like this.. Especially if its a word that's gonna get rapeated over and over again shoved deep into the listeners brain again and again.. CLIP CLIP CLIP CLIP

I sure as I take a dump in my toilet aprox once or so every day hope the author refrains from writing about anything else small arms related for the next 10/11ths of this book.. that's about 10+ hours .. ugh

Other then above described issue.. well its not a bad book at all. So I hope my jumping up and down on my pet Peevee didn't come of as to harsh.

PS. The narration is topnotch!!
