About this listen

A pack of hellhounds is terrorizing the magical community, but does anyone know where they came from or who has hold of their leash?

Finn and Penny are asked to hunt the hounds down before anyone else gets hurt, but for a six foot, five inch dwarf and a pint-sized dragon, a pack of hellhounds might be a little above their pay grade.

Join your favorite giant dwarf and snarky dragon as they start the hunt of a lifetime. They thought finding lost treasure was difficult, but at least the treasure didn't bite back.

Grab a box of Charleston Chews and kick up your feet. This is one hunt you won’t want to miss.

If only the reader could pronounce the John Wayne movie McLintock! properly. McLintock! isn’t pronounced McLintick! otherwise it was a good book. My wife and I have been enjoying the series so far.

Not bad but…

When the hell hounds are taken by the nefarious Dark Star, Mila and Finn go searching for them. Dark Star is using them in her twisted machinations to get the magicals on her side. Finn has found a purpose on Earth to protect humans from the Dwarven artifacts. It also does not hurt that he is falling for Mila. Finn has become acclimated to our culture, a little bit to quickly. I have issues with Mila assisting in fights with zero prior fighting experience. The expected trajectory of that story line is that she will become bad ass in a short period of time. Old friends make an appearance. This is a great story full of adventure, action and suspense, with a nice sprinkle of humor thrown.

Just as good as the first!
