About this listen
Hunter: A Twisted Psychological Thriller of Madness and Betrayal.
The second installment in the Jake series!!
Hunter Holloway has always thrived on control—over his life, his secrets, and the quiet suburb he calls home. But control starts slipping when he becomes fixated on his new neighbor, Vincent Winslow. A surgeon with an impeccable reputation, Vincent seems perfect. Too perfect.
Idle curiosity soon turns into dangerous obsession as Hunter begins to suspect Vincent is hiding something. The deeper he digs, the darker things get—strange notes, missing people, and shadows at the edge of reason. Hunter’s not just watching a man; he’s unraveling a sinister web of secrets.
At home, Hunter’s wife, Mary, senses something is wrong. Once his anchor, she’s now distant, grappling with her own secrets as the growing divide pulls her into the mystery. Meanwhile, two detectives, Margot and Turner, investigate a string of brutal crimes in the area, their probing questions closing in on Hunter. Margot is relentless, Turner methodical, and together they suspect there’s more to Hunter than he lets on.
Then there’s Emily, the quiet maid in Hunter’s home, whose connection to Vincent is deeper than it seems. Is she the key to exposing Vincent’s secrets—or is she the one pulling the strings?
Caught between detectives, Mary’s suspicions, and the escalating danger surrounding Vincent, Hunter begins to question his own sanity. The closer he gets to the truth, the more his world unravels. Is he the hunter in this deadly game—or the hunted?
Secrets are deadly, and in this twisted game, not everyone will make it out alive.
