This book is written in a conversational form... words of wisdom from an admired, trusted mentor or maybe homespun philosophy from Grandpa. What a treat it would be if the voice matched the author's approach. Instead we get a milk toast impersonation of a generic youth minister. His voice is such that you immediately discount anything he says as random BS platitudes from some Mr. Rogers wannabe. The authentic, real world earned wisdom is completely lost... Clint Hurdle deserves better.

PS - I gave the story a "3" because you have to chose a rating to write the review... I couldn't get past the first 15 minutes to be able to truthfully comment either way. Guess I'm off to buy the book and see for myself.
