Publisher's summary

“I can’t breathe.”

These three words rocked the nation in the spring of 2020. The historic eruption of lawlessness and violence that followed George Floyd’s death opened new fault lines in the nation’s cultural and political landscape, threatening a radical reshaping of American society.

In I Can’t Breathe, the relentlessly penetrating David Horowitz exposes the biggest hoax of the 21st century. Despite its claim to be an “inclusive and spacious movement”, Black Lives Matter divides Americans by race, class, and party in pursuit of a radical agenda that would impoverish and degrade everyone.

Relying on groundbreaking research and dozens of internal documents, Horowitz reveals:

  • Why Black lives don’t matter to the leaders of Black Lives Matter
  • How, in just seven years, BLM became one of the most powerful cultural forces in America
  • Why BLM is not a civil rights organization
  • Why BLM leaders won’t be satisfied until the West has been dismantled and “reimagined”

The goals of Black Lives Matter are a far cry from those of the civil rights movement of 60 years ago, warns Horowitz. I Can’t Breathe uncovers the truth about BLM and provides solutions that will actually strengthen Black communities and guarantee the freedom of all citizens.

A Great Book

I Can't Breathe a well-written book that provides proof that we have all lived through a hoax for a few years now. Most of what has happened have been lies and criminal. Yet our elected officials have allowed it to occur rather than stop it. We have all suffered from these actions. Many have lost all they owned, while some were killed—all for a hoax.

Courageous Author!

It's an honor to be one of the first to review this book; I'm sure I won't be the last. I believe the book, & I'm glad there's still an author out there with enough courage to tell the truth, & a publisher with enough courage to publish the truth. In this cancel-culture where our freedom of speech is under attack, it's like a breath of fresh air for those of us who refuse to follow the crowd or be brainwashed. Better buy this one while you still can. I also liked the audio version: clear & easy to follow.

Very enlightening material

I love any book that lends itself to truthful political discourse and discussion and was very surprised and happy to find this piece on audible. Truly a must read for any well intentioned American, the performance was very good, well delivered, and palatable. I am definitely recommending this to friends and family.

the truth about black life matters and government (demo) involvement.

I loved this book. it is interesting and truthful. It brings to light information not reported by media and very rarely has ever been said by anyone.

I would love to see this author write a book about why there have been no charges for those who lied on the stand at the Chavin trail? example: chief A said on the stand that that was not a hold or restrained taught to police. I worked in a county jail and we trained with Sheriffs patrol division and police officers and we learned that very same technical move. I did not work for Hennipen County. Also it has been reported that the Judge in the trail had pending case or cases with George Floyd's friend that was with that day????
I did not agree with the judge's decisions regarding the trail and I noticed when watching it that majority of defenses objections and request were denied where as majority of the procution were approved or granted. Also, don't gang members and murders in general violate the rights of people? why has no one else been charged before and after this case of the 4 officers involved? wouldn't that also count as double jeopardy?

A must read

This is a excellent resource to have when speaking with people about the major issues with BLM and the movement itself. Use this book and its citations to strengthen your argument.

Awesome explanation of what should be plainly obvious to EVERY American citizen. I sincerely hope every facet of this is able to break through to the public.

Did you watch the Zimmerman trial?

A small quibble: Horowitz takes a fairly mainstream view of the Zimmerman case, and fails to note the fraudulent edits by the NBC producer that paints him as a racist. He inaccurate reports Zimmerman confronts Martin: that was not a fact of the case, that was merely narrative. Additionally, he seems unaware of the obvious witness swap. David, you can't be perfect, that's OK. You clearly didn't put a lot of time in on that. Anyone wanting a good starting can find the trial on YouTube at the time of this writing. If you want it in audio form, The Glenn show (Glenn Lourey and John McWorter) dig into it in great detail and care in their 12/6/2019 episode.
