About this listen

Pam Dottson read about the new store opening in the monthly newsletter Maxwell's sent out to its employees and was curious about the small town of Marysville, Utah. No one had put in a request for the job so far and she decided to take two weeks of vacation at the beginning of February to drive up and check it out. As soon as she drove into the small rural town, she knew she was in love. It felt like time had stopped and the pace of life was definitely slower than what she was used to in California.

Pam was in her mid-forties and had never married due to being preoccupied with her career. She didn't have close family, and for all intents and purposes, she was considered a very independent woman and a loner due to her busy lifestyle. The fact that she had never married didn't bother her until recently. She was inching closer to 50 years old and suddenly felt that life was either closing in on her or passing her by. She was slightly concerned about the fact that she had moved to a very small town where the chances of her finding an eligible man around her age was probably slim or next to none.

Rob Wilton was in his early fifties and had lived in Marysville all his life. He owned a shoe repair shop and enjoyed his work. When he walked out of his shop to take a break and get a breath of fresh air, he shook his head in frustration at the new Maxwell's store that had been built a few doors down from his shop. He didn't like the large building that would bring in noise and who knew what else while destroying his peace and quiet. He couldn't wait to meet the store manager so he could give them a piece of his mind!

It appears the only eligible bachelor in town for Pam is Rob...and he's ready to do battle with her the first opportunity he gets. You don't want to miss the latest romance from Christy Webb to see how this will all turn out! Pick up your copy today...and Happy Reading!
