Authenticity.
There are great examples of what the abuse is. It is a great mental health provider resource for clients. The AI read was interesting at time, but nothing too distracting.

This book validates and helps start the healing journey
So grateful I found this book. It was incredibly helpful to get a better understanding and insight into this very real struggle. It is easy to feel alone and trapped in these experiences. I am grateful for the professional perspective and guidance. Thank you for the work you do,Kaytee, for victims of post separation abuse. You give voice to what can feel like a silent, isolated suffering. My gosh, if there could be change on the judicial level! I have said many times that the courts protect the bullies, even if they don’t intend to. And yes, the use of the phrase “high conflict divorce/separation” tossed out in the courtroom feels like further victimization for the person simply trying to handle the abuse, so out of their control, that is thrown at them. The helpless, hopeless, stuck emotions are real and deeply understandable. Finding this book was a gift. As for the AI reader… I am not a fan of AI narration. So much is lost in the telling of poignant writing. Nonetheless, this AI reader was more tolerable than others I have heard, and furthermore, the content of the book is worth the effort it takes to get beyond the AI narration.

Great book, bad AI reading
This AI reader literally cut off the last 24 minutes of the book. I have no idea how it ended!
