Insightful and Inspiring

This book came at the right time for me as I have been contemplating where I fit within my company culture and seeking to contribute to positive change within the organization. While the concepts of conflict management, thoughtful dialogue and team building are not new, the well crafted examples couched within the context of KINDNESS in the workplace is informative and inspiring. The book is very well written and enjoyable to listen to. The authors personal transparency about his own journey into well-practiced kindness is engaging, and his sense of humor keeps your attention.
Highly recommended to those in leadership or those seeking to lead culture-change by example.

Thoughtful Strategies & Candid Stories - A Great Read!

The author takes you on a candid and relatable journey of life and work situations, weaving in some of the best advice and strategies that I’ve heard to date. This book is useful for early, mid, and late career professionals and anyone who wants to interact more thoughtfully with other humans. The world is changing - has changed - and this book IS a a good compass for navigating it. I plan to blend this with my current HR practices as well as use pieces of it as conversation and meeting starters.

Bonus: if you like Star Trek even a little, you’ll appreciate the analogies and references! Don’t worry if you’re not a fan, they won’t get in the way of your enjoyment either!
