Publisher's summary

Paget Murphy doesn't expect to find love in Paris for the holidays, until she bumps into a handsome stranger at the airport. He is everything she has ever wanted in a man - kind, generous, and he loves art as much as she does!

Christopher Paris can't believe his luck when he bumps into a beautiful stranger. He is a curator at the Louvre, and that is where Paget intends to spend most of her time in Paris. He plans to occupy every free moment with her - running, eating, and making love.

With a continent separating them, will they find a way to spend the most memorable holiday together - Christmas?

This was also my dream!!!

This book made me see my dream love story when I was young. A lovely story that everyone would dream of. The male character is also what every women wish to have.

About the overall quality of the audiobook, it was good. I clearly understand the story due to its good narration.

Heartwarming!

This is a heartwarming story with a lovely overview of Paris. Paget and Christopher literally bump into each other and fall in love at first sight. Though Christopher has to work days and evenings to complete his project they squeeze in every minute together they can. As Paget’s time in Paris draws to a close they have a magical night together. Sharon gives us a sweet romance that will warm your heart and leave you wanting to travel to Paris. The narrator did a lovely job with the narration though her male voices were weak. Her accent was perfect for this story.

beautiful story

Love never ceases to amaze me. This story drew me in from the very beginning. Who doesn’t like a well-written love story? This also my dream love story. Aside from the good story, I also love the narrator's performance, it was a great one!

Everybody sounded the same & what is this accent?

I thought this might be a cute story, but I wasn't overly impressed. In some regards it was almost too mushy. That being said, I did enjoy the relationship Paget formed with the author, even if becoming such fast friends with a favorite author over a flight seems a bit quick. But nothing was so quick as Paget and Christopher's romance. First, she runs into him (literally) in the airport. Then they discover they're on the same flight and both in first class. He speaks with her briefly while on the plane. Upon arriving in Paris, he offers to help her get where she's going and then just up and kisses her and, bam, they're a thing. The two become more or less inseparable when Christian's work doesn't get in the way (and even then, she visits him at work). Within a few days, he was already calling her "my love" and she was thinking about how she could see herself spending forever with him. She flies back to the States but they talk daily. Then, instead of a Skype dinner as planned, he shows up at her door with news that he got one of the jobs in the States and has already told them yes and then proceeds to ask her to marry him. It all seems a bit much to me.

As for the narration by Yael Eylat-Tanaka, I was quite disappointed. I'm not entirely sure what accent she was speaking in, but it seemed rather odd that Paget, from the States, would have the same accent as Christopher, who lives in Paris. On top of that, I honestly couldn't tell much of a, if any, difference in Paget's and Christopher's voices. It made the story very hard to follow sometimes as there was no way to know who was speaking based on their voice. Heck, sometimes Paget's voice sounded deeper than Christopher's. Also, Paget, who is from the United States and barely speaks any French can somehow pronounce pretty much any of their words flawlessly? Seems a bit strange... I don't think I'd be too quick to listen to another book Yael has narrated.
