About this listen

Alec shot away and the man racing towards them veered diagonally to cut him off as another man emerged from the building and obviously took the situation in at a glance and broke into a run to intercept Wayne. The first man reached out to grasp the fleeing boy just as Wayne dived forward in a rugby tackle and brought him to the ground. Alec vanished with the second man in hot pursuit but Wayne had no time to see what was happening as the man he had brought down twisted and kicked out, catching him a glancing blow on the chest. He was back on his feet on the instant but before he could make his escape the man he had tackled reached and grabbed an ankle and brought him crashing to the ground. They were both back on their feet in an instant and trading furious blows as each sought to bring down the other. The fellow was no boxer and Wayne managed to dodge the haymakers that were flung at him and then seizing his chance he caught him full on the jaw and sent him sprawling once again onto his back. Leaving him dazed on the ground Wayne turned to make his own escape when something crashed down of the back of his head and the lights went out.
