this book is seriously worth a listen!
I used to snap at people over the smallest things and then feel awful about it later. This book showed me how to slow down and think before reacting, which is huge for me. The exercises aren’t complicated, but they really helped me stay calm when everything felt like too much. I’ve already started handling stress better, and it’s made a big difference in how I deal with people around me.

What a Difference this One Made
You know that feeling when you're completely overwhelmed by emotions, and nothing seems to help? That's exactly where I was before finding this audiobook. I honestly wasn't expecting much - I've tried so many self-help resources before - but wow, what a difference this one made. The narrator breaks down DBT in such a practical, down-to-earth way that I actually found myself looking forward to my daily commute just to listen more.
The exercises and techniques they share... they're not just theory. They're real tools I've started using when I'm caught in those emotional storms (like during that crazy work meeting last week!). Sure, I'm still learning, but for the first time in forever, I feel like I have actual control over my reactions. If you're struggling with emotional regulation like I was, give this one a try. It's been an eye-opener for me.

The stuff in here actually works.
This audiobook felt like it was made for me. I’ve spent years letting my emotions run wild—getting angry, shutting people out, or just feeling completely drained. The exercises in here are simple but actually work. I’ve started using the mindfulness tips when I feel myself getting worked up, and it’s helped me keep my cool instead of snapping. The advice on stress and relationships made me realize how much I was sabotaging myself without even knowing it. This book showed me how to take small steps that actually make a difference in my daily life.
