About this listen

Running from him once was hard.
Doing it again will be impossible.
Especially once he finds out I'm pregnant with his child.

When he learns the truth, Samuil whisks me away to his Scottish castle.
He says it's to keep me safe.
But the bars on the windows say they're there to keep me contained.

I want to hate him for locking me away.
But when his touch melts my resolve and his kisses promise protection,
I start to wonder if his prison might be the only place I'm truly free.
Because the way he looks at me now—like I'm carrying his whole world inside me—
Makes me want to believe in forever.

Problem is, forever might be shorter than we think.

Dark forces are closing in on all sides,
Led by his ex-wife and his own brother, who want to destroy everything Sam's built.
I say, Let them come.

That day on the beach, Rufus knocked a stranger into my arms.
Now, I'm carrying his heir.
I'm commanding his castle.
And I'm about to show his enemies
Why even the gentlest creatures have teeth.

This book complemented the first one excellently. The storyline continued seamlessly without any breaks. I felt like there were some good unpredictable turns yet things still came out the way you thought.

Wonderful news of the happy ending, love it when it all comes together, shifting into a new beginning and solving their personal mistrust was the besr

Nova drove me nuts lol but I loved how she was just as stubborn as samuil... but the best part was that he loved her enough to let her do the dumb stuff she did .

I loved it

I loved that the big scene… no giveaways here lol… linked us to some previous names and bratvas. I liked how the love story continues to unfold without making Sam look weak or altered too much. They grow together in a powerful way making it feel believable.

Loved the links to previous bratvas

I loved this conclusion to the duet! There was a lot going on and everything was happening at once to keep the reader engaged (but not overwhelmed). It was really well done. I thought all the background stories played out really nicely as well. The writing and dialog were all totally believable and I felt like I could see myself in the story, (which is not always the case in a Bratva story) and the narrators did an excellent job as well. All in all both of the books were really well done and I definitely enjoyed them both.

Excellent conclusion!

The first book was intriguing and actually had me wanting to finish the story. However, in this second half, there were so many plot holes in the story I began to roll my eyes with annoyance. The narrators did a great job as usual, but I think this will be the last duet I invest in by this author. All her books are basically the same overall. But if that’s your thing and it doesn’t get old to you, then congrats.

It was okay… if you ignore all the plot holes
