About this listen

Living under Reese Madaris' roof makes LaKenna James the envy of every woman in town. But Reese's offer of a place to stay is strictly platonic - just until Kenna's new condo is completed. He has no idea that his best friend has been attracted to him since college, and Kenna plans to keep it that way.

Ever since his cousin Blade got married, Reese has become Houston's most eligible bachelor - and a magnet for gold diggers. Reese turns to his temporary roommate for dating advice, and suddenly sees Kenna for the beautiful, voluptuous woman she is. Though Kenna's afraid to give her heart to the man who could so easily break it, when her life is in jeopardy, she'll discover just how far a Madaris man will go when love is at stake

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes it was interesting and has just the right amount of steam, without being raunchy.

What other book might you compare Inseparable to and why?

I would compare it to the Westmoreland Series. I have often said the Madari's Series lacked the steam of the Westmorelands, but this proved me wrong. Some of the previous books in the series left a lot to the imagination, but this one filled in the blanks!

Did Ohms Pete do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

No. You get used to him part way through the book. But I just don't care for him as a narrator. His voice is to deep to play the feminine roles, which tend to make him over act it out. Nobody in the book says "thing", everybody says "thang", drives me crazy. I am pretty sure this isn't Brenda, but something he added.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Steamy

Liked the story!! Ohms needs to stop saying thang!

If you could sum up Inseparable in three words, what would they be?

Lovers and Friends

Who was your favorite character and why?

Reese of course. Reese is the kind of man that a woman can appreciate. He only had eyes for McKenna, even when he didn't even know it.

Which character – as performed by Ohms Pete – was your favorite?

Not one in particular, some of the voices he performed came out rather creepy. I'm not going to say he should stick to only male voices because the voice of Sir Drake, was scary, I didn't like it at all.

Who was the most memorable character of Inseparable and why?

I really don't have a memorable one. It was a great book and I'm not going to spoil it for others. I will state that the killer in the book is unsuspected.

Any additional comments?

I'm going to go back to book 1 and read from the beginning of the series. I love Brenda's work. I don't think you have to read them in order but previous characters from the other books do appear in the current books.

Another one of Brenda Jackson hits. I've been reading her books for years and never been disappointed. This is another action filled book and one that I couldn't put down.

Love the Story

First I am a Brenda Jackson fan. Her story lines are classic with a pinch of new world favor. This story is one I read and listen more to than three times and never bore of it. Romance, mild erotica, and mystery something any Grown Woman can love. I will recommend this book to a romantic at heart. Happy reading

I really enjoyed this one. It heightened my curiosity. I rooted for the heroine and hero but knew the obvious was coming...Enjoyed listening to the narration.

A Mystery and A Love Story

As usual BJ crafted a great story. I couldn't stop listening to this one and 9 hours flew by before I knew it. I love, love, love me some Brenda Jackson. She makes it so hard to move on to other authors after finishing one of her books. I find myself wanting more love, romance and happy endings. Not sure what my next BJ book will be but lucky for me I have plenty to choose from.
