About this listen

What do you do when your planet runs out of women? Send for takeout, of course.

Tarjen never expected to go to Earth again. The first time, he was there to protect Crown Prince Joran as he claimed his mate and returned her to Pyros. This time, Tarjen is on his way to claim a mate of his own.

He’s studied human courtship behavior, memorized his match’s file from the Star-Crossed Dating database, and prepared himself for the moment he’ll meet his mate. He’s planned everything perfectly so that nothing can go wrong. Not like the last time they were here....

This book contains a single mother who doesn’t believe in happy endings and a royal bodyguard who does everything by the book - until the universe blows up the book, his plans, and part of a city block.

Not sure how performance got a 4.7 when the narrator couldn't pronounce Tarjen's name let anything with the a th in it. This problem brought down the story.

Narrator brought it down.

It was a great book. But I would love for it to be longer with the couples more involved.

This story is below average because it lacks excitement. Something needs to happen that a reader will get nervous about but the protagonist can’t die, of course. She just needs to avoid calamity and end up with her alien lover, voila, and everybody is happy. That’s how good books work, right?
The first book in this series, Joran, also lacks excitement. It’s even more boring, if possible.
Some of Zoey Draven’s books are on Audible and they’re full of excitement. Check out Laurann Dohner’s New Species series, Claimed, by Evangeline Anderson, and The Men Of the North by Elin Peer.
You’re Welcome. ;0)

Dull. Just dull.
