Publisher's summary

Intermittently Called by Christ Piercing the Darkness is about the mental pains and stressors of abuse within my life as a child and in adulthood. It further discusses the elements of how each situation affected me, along with insights into finally being able to live free from the past. The scars from my past left an imprint as a child and shaped a great portion of my life, however, I was set free.

Trials ultimately and unfortunately do not have a specific target; it’s written and played in the cards of life. We must seek wisdom while trying to understand the paradox of life in the polarity of differences based on our own experiences to uncover, arguably what Christ want of our lives. The stage is already set for your trajectory in life. Uncovering our possibilities in pain is difficult and often overlooked because we cannot associate pain and suffering as beneficial. We nonetheless intermittently transition in and out of dilemmas throughout our lives. We ultimately come to the conclusion that life is not what it seems, that eventually we have to accept the polarity of difference in the good and bad, and that it does not happen continuously but stops and start repeatedly or within the seasons of life until it ultimately leads you to the source of all life...Christ.

The suffering of this life as I describe is used to describe things that happen during certain seasons such as intermittent rain or an intermittent noise. It can also be used to describe things that happen for a while and then stops only to start again later, such as intermittent pain. I then discovered I was not in control, and I knew nothing. I humbled myself and went back to gain a deeper understanding of how to live out what I was created to be in Christ as a disciple but most importantly; how to be a husband. The discovery of Christ in the paradox of Christianity, in the polarity of differences came in a still calm voice. This was the ultimate paradigm shift to living on purpose.
