About this listen

Jason is very happy in his relationship with Margot and finds himself falling in love with her more with each passing day. He greatly appreciates the fact that she maintains her professional stance in the office where he slips but is aware of the fact that she loves him the same, possibly more. But Jason has a secret, one that he is not quite sure of sharing with Margot yet. Although he has told her that he doesn’t want to reveal their relationship to his family because of time and professional reasons, the real reason is their race. His family is extremely orthodox and uptight about their wealth and statue and would consider it pure blasphemy for him to date a black girl. One night Margot overhears his conversation with his mother about her and finds out the real reason their relationship is a secret even after such a long time. She feels deeply hurt and goes back to her village secretly. Jason goes into a panic when he cannot find her and is unable to contact her, but through her roommate he traces her to her village. He apologizes to her profoundly and proposes for marriage in front of the entire village. Margot is deeply touched and agrees almost immediately with her family’s blessing. The only problem now is how they will break the news to the family. Crime Fiction Multicultural Village
