戦後の大阪で、韓国人が牛や豚の臓物を焼いて、路上で提供したのが焼き肉屋の始まりといわれています。
1950年代に、薄切りの肉を客が自分で焼き、タレをつけて食べる現在の焼き肉屋のスタイルができました。
そして、1968年に焼き肉のタレが初めて市販され、1980年代に焼き肉屋で煙を吸うロースターが使用され始めたことから、焼き肉は広く普及しました。
焼き肉屋の中には、時間内で好きなだけ肉を注文できる「食べ放題」を行っている店も多く、安くたくさんの肉を食べられることから若者に人気です。©2017 KODANSHA
