About this listen
Is God’s grace really amazing? With a title like that, I will surely get quick responses from believers. I already hear the sounds of the old hymn “Amazing Grace,” and people accuse me of being sacrilegious. But if you’ve read this far and will read this book, you will discover why God’s grace is so remarkable and why I used a bold question for the title.
Peter’s first epistle highlights grace, revealing how security, sobriety, submission, suffering, and service are all attributes of God’s amazing grace. I first preached this expositional series in 2008-09. Then, in 2022-23, God led me to a fresh revelation from 1 Peter. I began preaching a new series, with some of the remnants of the old one carried forward. This book results from those two sermon series.
