Seven centuries later in 1853 amongst the peaceful hamlet of Sigtuna, Sweden, Tulo Hök is struggling to provide more than the usual stale bread for his always-hungry little sister. While undertaking yet another dispiriting job, Tulo unearths frightening artifacts hidden in the St. Olof Church Ruins. He fiddles with the relics and accidentally triggers a mechanism. Out in the Sigtuna forest, an ancient stone structure rises from the earth.

Hoping the bizarre discovery could somehow provide for his sister, Tulo warily ventures into the woods. But instead of bringing hope the archaic edifice could be a threat to his sister, as it begins to reveal it is more than just giant forgotten slabs of stone.
