About this listen
Passion, tide, and time - the third book in the legendary Poldark saga. Cornwall, 1790. Ross Poldark faces the darkest hour of his life. Accused of wrecking two ships, he is to stand trial at the Bodmin Assizes. Despite their stormy married life, Demelza has tried to rally support for her husband. But there are enemies in plenty who would be happy to see Ross convicted, not least George Warleggan, the powerful banker whose personal rivalry with Ross grows ever more intense.

More serious then previous
two novels. The third book consentrates on Ross' fight to survive and stand for what is right.

You really warm to this story
Poldark the first book was a little slow and was hard to get into. Demelza was better and now Jeremy Poldark is like an old friend that you are happy to bump into anytime anywhere. I enjoyed this book and believe the series will only get better. Have not seen the new TV series but enjoyed the original but the books really give you some meat on the boat to get your teeth into. Well worth the listen.
