About this listen
In the study of the Feasts, we see that every single piece of the Bible falls right into the framework of the ancient Jewish world. The whole Christian message is in the feasts which GOD gave to the Hebrews. Hundreds of years before Jesus Christ came into the world, GOD gave object lessons teaching His people of the Ministry of their Messiah to come, of how He would die for them on Passover, the 14th of Nisan as the Lamb of GOD who took away the sin of the world. GOD taught for three days Jesus would be in the tomb, and He would rise from the dead on the first day of the week, the very day the Israel celebrated the Feast of First Fruits.
Jesus was the first person to resurrect from the dead. FIRST FRUITS pictured the Resurrection of the Messiah. This Feast took place on the day after the first weekly Sabbath, or the first day of the week, after the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week after the first day of Unleavened Bread.
