About this listen

 This book contains my father’s biography, Joachim P. J. Liebert, three of his sisters’ pranks, and three stories he told me and my sisters when we were children.
The Curse of the Witch of Zehlendorf.

They are from my father’s life in Germany before coming to the US in 1928. He came with his mother as immigrants through Ellis Island. He was 13 years old.
Joachim P. J. Liebert (Joe) dictated his biography in 1985, which Charlie Liebert transcribed from an audio tape in 2025. The biography covers Joe's parents and their marriage, his childhood in 1920s Germany, and some of his sisters’ pranks, which often had serious consequences. Prnks are:
