Publisher's summary

It Takes Men of Giant Faith to Face the Giants of Canaan.

After 400 years of slavery in Egypt, the Israelites are prepared to enter the land of Canaan.

There’s only one problem: It’s crawling with giants.

They’re the Seed of the Serpent with many clans: Anakim, Rephaim, Zuzim, and others.

Two Israelites, Joshua and Caleb, have the faith to lead Israel against these monsters.

Their first target: King Og of Bashan, the last of the mighty Rephaim giants.

But the goddess he worships has plans to annihilate Israel with an evil occultic army.

The War of the Seed is climaxing in this first of two companion novels, including Caleb Vigilant. Joshua Valiant is the fifth book of the series Chronicles of the Nephilim, a biblical epic story of the fallen angelic Watchers and their offspring, the Nephilim giants of Genesis 6.

Written by respected Christian and best-selling Biblical author, Brian Godawa.

Great book

Brian Godawa does a great job tying the mythologies of the regions into these Biblical accounts and how the mythologies came about.

They just get better and better.

Another great story in making both biblical and spiritual characters come to life. The strategy, integrity, grit and faith of Joshua illustrates through this book. Also, when you read Joshua 2:12 you see Rahab's heart, and then in this book you see what Jesus ment when He said He came for the lost Luke 19:10.
It Makes you think about there are SOME lost but chosen (Acts 10:41) people out there. But, because either through circumstances and or wrong choices they are where they are, just waiting to hear about Jesus' love for them. This is the inter-woven Sovereignty you see in Brian's books. Don't just read them for the entertainment, read them for the Lord to show you something.

Good book but the Audible file is messed up.

Any additional comments?

Starting in Chapter 6 (marked as 9 by the chapter marks) the books starts to skip around and longer you go, seems to get worst. Book needs to be fixed. Happens in all versions. If it gets fixed, love to change the review.

Joshua Valiant

Great, Great book!!! Surely a powerful companion to Moses, against the Gods of Egypt in which I learned so much about Moses, the person.
I read this book before, when I read the entire Nephilim series. However, I found a few things seem as if they’ve been changed since the first book publish 8 years ago. Though still incredibly powerful, it took a few things away from its first eye opening impact.
But, Brian Godawa has the “right” voice — welcoming yet soothing. I love Mr. Godawa’s work and so glad he’s stayed the course to keep these powerful and revelatory books coming forth. Thank you.
