About this listen

There is no sound more terrifying than the unexpected ringing of a phone.

Rob Marshall has it all. A great job, a nice house just outside Washington, DC, and a wonderful family. He was living the American Dream. But the dream becomes a nightmare with one phone call - his son has been kidnapped.

After a media frenzy and a frantic hunt for the kidnapper, the FBI is out of leads, and they hand the case over to local police. The only problem is that the lead detective suspects Rob is behind it all. Amid the accusations and investigation, his marriage is falling apart.

Just Gone explores the dark depths of a family torn apart by tragedy.

A Good New Suspense Thriller That Builds

JUST GONE was a good start to the Rob Marshall series. It was thrilling right out of the gate. It had a good plot with nail-biting suspense. Rob and Gina were great and their dialogue tag worked well. BRIAN COLBORNE did a nice job penning this story. Pretty impressive and it held my interest throughout. I look forward to more in this series.

ROBERTO SCARLATO nailed it. Along with the dialogue, he pulled off every character flawlessly. He's a very skilled vocal artist with a great knack for differentiating each character with their own personalities. A well paired author and narrator.

This plot grabbed me and held me spellbound from the beginning . When their child diapered from school, their lives spun out of control. The search never ends for

the parents. I want to know where things go in the next book.

The narration was well done, holding me in anticipation of the next twist.
