Karla, genannt Karlchen, ist ein hilfsbereiter Mensch. Dumm nur, dass manche Leute sich partout nicht helfen lassen wollen. Zum Beispiel die Stadtkinder Alban und Pippa, die auf Karlchens Bauernhof Ferien machen. Die haben nämlich Angst vor Tieren. Aber da kann Karlchen helfen! Mit einem Eimer Stinkkäfer und Umberto, dem freundlichsten Hängebauchschwein der Welt! Leider geht Karlchens Hilfsaktion nach hinten los und für Mama sieht das Ganze wie ein fieser Streich aus, darum muss Karlchen nun zur Strafe im Wäschezimmer Socken sortieren. Doch da kommt ihr schon die nächste Idee, wie sie helfen kann. Und diesmal klappt es bestimmt!
