poignant

How does one react to a story as universal as is portrayed in this one -- the tragic loss of a loved one. So few, I dare say none, will walk away after reading this heart-rending story unmoved. For it did just that and more. I'm a Guamanian who understands Chamoru and so the fact that the writer has chosen to use a few Chamoru words and places has given her story an extra special meaning for me.
