Is there more?

This is a story that presents serious topics in a way that enhances a fun story. Young girl lives in what she thinks is a perfect family. Is turned into a vampire, parents go missing. She is placed into a dungeon by mean vampire queen. Vampire queen throws away key and forgets about her. Girl tries to come to gripes with her new life, bullies etc. Slowly young vampire works her way though these things and makes friends in book 1. At start of book 2 she is escaping from the dungeon during castle attacked. Our young vampire then has a series of adventures. Learns the meaning of love, family, sacrifice and growing up. The book is fast paced. Lots of jokes, funny events, circumstances, and play on words. This is story is for the young and young at heart. I enjoyed how the matter of love and loss is handled. Reader Katherine Kellgren does a great job. I hope there is more and that Beckett can continue what he has begun.
