I expected the book to be more on the battles & wars of the time period than it was. This is pretty heavy on the geography of the battle sites and less so on the battles themselves but it was still interesting and I enjoyed it anyway.

Ya'll should ensure that your narrator can pronounce Old English. It took me 2 minutes to figure out what he was talking about when he was talking about the Hwicce cause he mispronounced it so bad.
