About this listen

Sunwalker Saga - Book 4

Bringing the Fairy Queen's murderous brother to justice was supposed to give Morgan Bailey a little peace and quiet - at least as much as a vampire hunter ever gets. But two murders, a jail break, a price on Morgan's head, and rumbles of paranormal war don't bode well for rest and relaxation. Mix in the reappearance of mysterious "soul vampires", and Morgan's emotions are on the verge of melting down.

The hunt for the origins of the soul vampires takes Morgan and Jack, the local Sunwalker and former Templar knight, from the depths of the famous Shanghai Tunnels of Portland to Area 51 and finally the streets of the City of Lights. The truth they uncover in Paris leads to a new confrontation with the Fairy Queen, and the very real possibility they won't get out of this one alive.

Shea does it again!!

The Kiss series is a wonderful way to spend an evening. Over and over. Each book just keeps getting more exciting.

I’m invested now…

So I am enjoying the story overall and the writing itself is great. However, the MFC is quite irritating and maybe it’s on purpose. She still in denial about her powers but then gets mad at Jack for not telling her things. Wellll, when he did you denied the truth of it. Then she got mad at him for not explaining things when she self admitted she was avoiding him. (Previous books). Now in this book she constantly forgets that she should be able to do things and looks at people crazy when they look at her to do something. If she would just admit it then maybe everything wouldn’t be so overwhelming and difficult to handle. She tries to do all this stuff on her own and complaining about other people not being there but she also doesn’t tell everyone everything but states that is the reason her and Jack wouldn’t have worked and while I do agree he holds a lot inside, so does she AND she’s with someone else so why would he open up now? With that being, I enjoy the storyline and writing. I’m not sure how they will get all the answers that are still left hanging from the first few books and tie them in, but I’m definitely going to listen and see if it happens. I hope that she becomes less dim witted and stops throwing stones at glass houses.

Cheesy but good overall

It's a typical vampire romance but we'll told and performed. I plan to finish the series.

Annoying!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I was super annoyed through the whole book. Morgan talks about Jack as if he was her past boyfriend! They only had sex twice and each time Jack took off afterwards telling Morgan he didn't want to be with her!!! He was never her boyfriend, but she talks and acts as if they had a serious relationship! I think this might ruin the whole series for me!

Would you be willing to try another book from Shéa MacLeod? Why or why not?

Maybe, I am not sure if I will continue this series.

Which scene was your favorite?

I do not have one

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I would rent it, not go to the movies and see it

Getting tedious

The main female character is an absolute idiot. The plot is just chaos. And a cliffhanger to boot. I won't continue with this series.
