About this listen

Twenty-something Tucson native Pablo Francisco has a natural ability to create vividly funny living pictures that will have listeners in stitches. He brings forth strikingly authentic, off-the-wall sound effects and brilliant impressions (imagine Spanish versions of Jerry Seinfeld, Johnny Carson, and Ed McMahon).

In this live performance, you'll hear grimly narrated action-movie previews, with Arnold Schwarzenegger as a tortilla vendor targeted by the mob, a hilarious spoofing of those intensely melodramatic Telemundo soap operas, and what Denny's would be like if the waiters were male exotic dancers.

Francisco was nominated for Best Male Stand-Up Comic by The American Comedy Awards.

Editorial reviews

Arizona-based comedian Pablo Francisco makes people laugh with his high energy and his off-the-wall impressions in Knee to the Groin.

Francisco not only does great impressions, but invents them. He does a "Latino Pauly Shore" and "Spanish Jerry Seinfeld", which you recognize as soon as you hear, whether or not you understand Spanish. Later on, he will recreate an R&B "slow jam" complete with drum machine beats. Other subjects for his humor include the fierceness of Mexican women and the songs in animated Disney movies.

Francisco’s stand-up is the perfect treat for comedy fans who like impressions and zany personas like Robin Williams.
