knight After Day

Omg this book started off so good, one bad a$$ Lawyer that took care of big bad bully husband's. And had a kick a$$ bestfriend. But that ending was so heart breaking, like why did you have to do that not her why, I can't believe that happen. But I'm looking forward to the next book. I need to know if my lawyer get revenge for what happen.

Great Story

Loved it. As a busy mother of little ones picking up a book is hard. I started listening to this book on my drive to work one day. I was so drawn in that by the time I listened in the way home and pulled in the drive way, I didn't want to go inside. I put the kids to bed about 30 minutes earlier and had to finish the whole book. Though cereal was for dinner, it was so worth it. Can't wait for book two.

Amazing story!

If you are looking for an amazing romantic suspense, I have found it for you. Meet Ariel Day. Lawyer by day, vigilante by night. She has taken on a mission that while admirable, is probably not the best way to deal with the situations. Devon Knight is a policeman. On the case, he meets Ariel, and the instant chemistry is about to explode. But the secrets Ariel holds are keeping her at a distance from Devon. Will her side business get in the way of her new budding relationship? What will Devon do when secrets are revealed? This is a high action, the passion is hot, and the story is original and amazing. The addition of Devon's family adds additional warmth to the story. Audrey Marie Howard's ending leaves us wanting more, so I am definitely looking forward to the next in the series!

Monica King is a favorite of mine and this performance is spot on. Each character has a voice that is specific and well chosen for their characters. She gives Ariel a compassion to her clients and a ferocity to her victims. As Devon she is warm and sensual, making us want this couple to be together! She gave a wonderful narration.
