Publisher's summary

The only thing music publicist Courtney Lincoln dislikes more than knock-off sugary breakfast cereal is the hunky lead singer of her brother’s ridiculously popular band. A band on the rocks, again. Seems like this time it’ll take a miracle to save Dimefront.

So, when she discovers she’s pregnant following one teeny, tiny, mind-blowing morning with Brennan “Bax” Baxter, the timing is not great. Being a mom wasn’t part of her plan, but her plans just changed. Following the implosion of his engagement, Bax realizes he doesn’t want to lose Dimefront, too. But he’s finally let his guard down with Courtney in a steamy slip-up that ties them together as unlikely co-parents. The big problem? He broke the cardinal rule of music - don’t knock up the bass player’s little sister. Especially a little sister who sees straight through the façade he’s painstakingly curated. But he’s always wanted a family, and he’s being offered that chance. Plus, Courtney might just be exactly who he needs to keep him grounded. Even if the band can mend fences, there’s a baby on the way, and Courtney’s questioning everything she once thought. Bax is suddenly a dreamy boyfriend, but she isn’t convinced it’s authentic given all she knows about his rocker past.

As the group heads out on what they hope is a reunion tour, Bax and Courtney have to figure out what’s real, what’s not, and if they can learn to finally trust each other....

Fun and Steamy Accidental Pregnancy Rockstar Romance!!

Knocked Up by the Rockstar by Christina Hovland was a fun and steamy accidental pregnancy rockstar romance I didn't know I needed. Courtney and Bax's love story is not your typical love story, however their journey to happiness will leave your heart super happy and have you cheering for their own HEA with their little bad ass.

This audiobook is narrated by Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke and written in third person. Rose did an fantastic job bringing Courtney to life conveying all of her doubts, determination, and desires. Rose was so expressive in her performance, and this made me love Courtney's character even more. Jason Clarke super swoony in his performance of Bax. In his narration, you could feel all of Bax's inner turmoil and his joy as he came full circle and realized his true feelings for Courtney. This was my first time hearing Rose and Jason paired together, and it was great!

Overall I enjoyed this story and audiobook. If you love a rockstar romance with an accidental pregnancy, a hunky dedicated lead singer, a sweet and snarky publicist, a reunited rockband, a cute little bad ass, unexpected steamy times, disputes in pirate talk, singing, and one little happy family with their own HEA, the you will love Courtney and Bax's story. I am looking forward to more from Christina Hovland.

Great Rockstar Romance!

This is the second book in the Mile High Rocked Series, a spin off series of the Mile High Matched Series. This is a series of interconnected stories. I loved Courtney and Bax’s story. Courtney is Linx’s sister from Played by the Rockstar, the first book in the series. She is a beautiful character, funny, spontaneous, and talkative. Bax is the popular lead singer of the Dimefront band. He is handsome, supportive, and caring. The story is sweet, steamy, hilarious, and heartwarming, The supporting characters are great. Courtney’s family is awesome! I like the brotherhood in this story. This is a great addition to the series. Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro did an excellent job with the narration. They are perfect as Courtney and Bax. This is a great rockstar romance. Looking forward for more in the series!

Spunky and Hunky = Tiny Badass

Knocked Up by the Rockstar is a fun and spicy accidental pregnancy, rock star romance. This is not your typical love story but the journey to happiness for Courtney and Bax will leave feeling all the feels.

I was given an ALC copy of this book and was brand new to Christina Hovland's work. While I'm not the biggest fan of books written in third person, I truly enjoyed this one. Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro had a way of bring the characters of Bax and Courtney, as well as all the side characters, to life that it was so easy to put myself into the story. Rose was perfect for Courtney. She really made Courtney lovable by bringing out all her spunk and feistiness. The character of Bax has so much inner turmoil, from deciding if he wants to continue with his music career, a relationship that just ended, and then the "tiny badass" on the way. Jason really makes you feel everything that Bax does. I hope Rose and Jason do more together. They were fantastic together!!!

This book had everything. If you like rock stars, accidental pregnancies, and witty banter between a fiery publicist and a hunky lead singer, then this is the book for you. Go check it out now.

It was ok

I went in with an open mind since I don’t care for third person writing. I didn’t care for both MC. The h was weak and easy. She always allowed the H to get away with his actions even if it hurts her. Basically she’s a doormat. This type of h is a turn off. This is my first read/listen from this author. I may look for her other work but not this series.

Surprise baby and rockstar romance? Yes please!

After listening to Played by the Rock Star earlier this year, I have wanted to get Courtney's story and Christina Hovland did not disappoint! I thoroughly enjoy her writing style. It is sexy, funny and low angst. Her characters are well developed and easy to fall for! Courtney is the publicist for her brother’s band, Dimefront. Bax is the lead singer and after some bad PR, Courtney has been assigned to the job of laying low with Bax. One thing leads another and after a steamy hook-up they get much more than they bargained for with the news of Courtney's pregnancy.

This story provides a ton of laughs, emotion, feels and of course romance. There was never a dull moment from beginning to end of this story. The banter, dialogue, family drama and connection between Courtney and Bax kept me engaged in the storyline and not wanting to stop listening until I finished. Courtney and Bax, went through many growth spurts throughout their relationship. I loved every moment as they discover their feelings go beyond much more than a co-parenting relationship.

Overall, this is such a fun, easy listen. I have listened to Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke before, but had never heard them together and they were a great pairing for this story. Rose's range of voice is fantastic. Her storytelling is animated and fun and she absolutely nailed the vulnerable, emotional side to her character as well. Jason Clarke is one of my absolute favorites. His talent knows no bounds. No matter what character he plays, he always puts a fresh spin on his characters and rock star Jason is my new favorite.

Great story

Always love a good surprise baby trope!!! Sprinkle in a best friends little sister , who have had a love/hate relationship and you’ve got Knocked Up by the Rockstar. Growing up together, Courtney always saw the real Bax or Brennan, when the real guy comes comes out and not the rockstar everyone sees. Babies make you grow up and reflect on your life. Brennan and Courtney find themselves living together, going on tour, and falling in love with not only the ‘little bada$$’ but each other. Love the side characters of Knox learning about medicine and babies while Irina plays the part of the traveling pregnancy coach.

Left me wanting an encore!!

Knocked Up By The Rockstar by Christina Hovland is an accidental pregnancy, best friend/little sister and frenemies to lovers romance.

Bax is a huge (wink, wink) rockstar whose life is completely turned upside down when he is betrayed by his fiancé. Courtney is the sassy publicist for the band and the little sister of the bassist. One steamy shower scene later, Bax and Courtney are faced with all the decisions that come with an accidental pregnancy. Is a duet in the books for these two or just some co-parenting?

Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke are the narrators for this book. They did an amazing job bringing these characters to life for me. Rose did a wonderful job with conveying all the emotions that Courtney was feeling as a newly pregnant woman whose life was very much shaken up. Jason played the perfect cocky, yet vulnerable rockstar… not to mention his pirate accent is absolutely hilarious.

Knocked Up By The Rockstar is book 2 in the Mile High Rocked series but can be read/listened to as a stand-alone. I really enjoyed this book and the epilogue left me wanting an encore.
I loved seeing how Bax and Courtney’s story played out from being friends as children, then to frenemies and ending as lovers… along with a cute narrative filled with love, some drama and lots of laughs.

Absolutely loved this audio book!!

I was first introduced to this group in Played by the Rockstar. I loved that audio book as well so i knew I would like this one.

This book is Bax and Courtney's story. Courtney is Linx's younger sister AND the bands publicist, so when Bax's engagement implodes, she's tasked with getting him away from the public eye. Only prob is that during his stay with her, they have a one night stand that ends up with her being pregnant.

The story is hilarious and so sweet. So many parts made me laugh...Dr. Pepper, the pink house, the pirate ship...

Sigh... I really enjoyed listening to this book and am looking forward to the next in the series!! The narrators did a great job on the book.. definitely kept my interest!!

I recieved an ALC for my honest review.

Fun, Emotional and Steamy Romance!

I really enjoyed listening to this fun and steamy accidental pregnancy Rockstar romance! Bad boy rockstar, Bax is the lead singer of the popular band Dimefront. When he and his fiancé breakup suddenly, he needs a place to lie low for awhile. He ends up at Courtney's house, who is the younger sister to his best friend and bandmate, Linx. Growing up together, Courtney and Bax have had a tumultuous relationship. But one night, after a bit too much to drink, they have a night of hot passion that leads to Courtney getting pregnant. Courtney never expected Bax to be all in when she told him the news, and she wasn't sure how two people who fought so much, could raise a baby together. But as they spend more time together, they learn to like each other and their attraction and chemistry grows. They soon believe they can have a future as a loving family together. But life on the road can be hard, and when Bax's past tries to complicate things, will they be able to trust that what they have is real? Bax and Courtney are so great together, he is so sweet and swoony, and Courtney really challenges him, giving him what he has always wanted.
Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke did a great job bringing these characters and story to life. They delivered all the wit, emotion, and steam and I was totally lost in their performance. I really enjoyed listening to this fun, touching, sweet and steamy romance!

The Dimefront guys are great on Audible!

I adore Jason Clarke's voice! he is one of my favorite narrators and he is amazing as Bax and the guys. Christina Hovland writes books that are perfect to listen to while commuting, as long as your windows are tinted or you don't mind other drivers thinking you are a loon when you are laughing so much!
