About this listen

Lucas already has one kid, and he's not trying for another one. He's not trying for anything except moving up the ladder at work....

Until he slides into the back seat of a taxi and sees Rosie for the first time. Her luscious lips look perfectly kissable, and her fiery red hair would look much better splayed across his pillow. Judging by the way she's looking at him, she feels it too.

After a traumatic attack that left Rosie in the hospital, she's cautious around men. But Lucas tears down her defenses with one smoldering look, and she knows she's in trouble. There's only one problem: "Trouble" turns out to be two blue lines, bright and clear on a pregnancy test. How will her mysterious Prince Charming react when he finds out he's going to be a dad...again?

Contains mature themes.

What is the skies boys voice

I really want to like this book but I think it’s gonna be one that I have to read myself. This guys voice is absolutely atrocious the photo California accent makes it sound like I’m listening to two teenagers talk. It’s such a bad performance and a bad vocal reading of a really good story. So definitely gonna purchase this one on Kindle but cannot listen to this guy talk any longer.

Lucas and Rosie

An adorably sweet, charming, entertaining and fun romance. I enjoyed going in this journey with Lucas and Rosie.

Cute but predictable

Girl scared after an attack but brings stranger home...hmmm
Male narrator was not the best pick, with his heavy accent seemed more Jersey boy than Californian Executive.

Typical story

Complete lack of communication makes this a typical, very common storyline. I told myself in the beginning: if she loses the phone number, I’ll stop listening. I didn’t. Then I said: if she doesn’t give him a chance to explain, I’m going to stop listening. I jumped ahead, but darn it I wanted to like this story!! Sorry, I didn’t finish because it’s just too cliche. The narrators did a very good job.

Good plot, audio performance wasn’t great though

The plot of this book was good and the spice level was low. However, I wasn’t a fan of the audio performance. Luke sounded immature to me and I struggled to see him as someone old enough to have a 12 year old child, let alone a newborn on the way. The exaggerated New York accent when the male narrator was speaking as the female character was a tad annoying.

Overall I give the book 3 stars because like I said the plot was good. I also do enjoy Lillian’s work.

It was okay 🤷🏽‍♀️

Book 1 was almost perfect. I loved it so much so I was excited to read book 2. Book 2 was alright. Falling in love that fast, the love was hard to see. The FMC went from being confident in book 1 to a coward. Didn’t make any sense. This book could have been way better, it was just disappointing. He never really asked about the 6 stab wounds. Why wouldn’t he ask about it and discuss it. Then his wife, what really happened with her, how did she die, how long ago. The story was vague and felt rush. Make you not want to read the other books in the series

This book is kind of bad.

The main character is annoying. The misunderstandings are really stupid. The communication between the characters is unbelievable.

Couldn’t handle the narrators

Between the male narrators terrible NY accent which made the female lead sound like a 50 something NY cliche, and the female narrators high pitch voice, I just could not get into this one. Usually I love Lilian Monroe and maybe if I read it, it will be better

These narrators are awful

I was so excited about this book but lord I just don't think I can finish it! The narrators are horrible!! The female voice is annoying and sounding like the pre-teen girl was even worse. Then the male, I don't know it's just bad. Sometimes it like a Boston accent and the other time I don't know if it's like Irish or what. What a horrible duet, really you could have done better. I was hoping to read this series even though I started on the second book, but not anymore. I just want my credit back, not worth it.

Dragged Out

I tried to like the book but the characters internal dialogue was so repetitive and there were so many moments where the plot was stagnant due to the characters lacking communication and the repetitive dialogue. Also the narrators threw me completely off.
