Rumors swirl around them—dark whispers of secrets, power, and shadows best left unexplored. But when circumstances force Fallon into a marriage she never asked for, she finds herself entangled in a world of danger, intrigue, and irresistible temptation.
At first, Fallon is sure they married her as just another pawn in a twisted power game. Yet as walls crumble and secrets unravel, she discovers the truth: She’s not merely a wife but their scent-matched mate. As the danger intensifies and omegas go missing across the city, Fallon realizes the Rosetti pack may be the only ones capable of protecting her.
In a game of obsession, love, and vengeance, Fallon must choose whether to embrace the darkness or run from the alphas who would tear the world apart just to keep her safe.

I loved the story

It was good for so much as I could pay attention and tolerate the terrible narration. One can’t tell who is speaking and it isn’t worthy of one’s undivided and focused attention (lying down with eyes closed and no interruptions.)
It definitely has potential, sadly the end of the book is just lobbed off. There were plenty of opportunities to make the story more complex and fleshed out, but those opportunities were passed by. I would love to see some of these authors develop their works, and eventually published them with suitable narrators.
If Audible transitions to all virtual voice, as I do recognize one of the voices being used in virtual voice from books she has narrated herself, I will stop my subscription. The art of reading books is just that, an art. Virtual voice doesn’t even get pronunciation correct.
Truly hard to gauge a book when read by virtual voice. All of the inflection is wrong for the moment or phrase!!
