Kurtyka: The Art of Freedom won the Banff Mountain Book Competition and National Outdoor Book Awards in 2017. It's the first biography of Wojciech Kurtyka - a famous Himalayan mountaineer and laureate of the Piolet d'Or for the sum of his climbing accomplishments. bardzo ciekawa historia polskiego himalaizmu

podziwiam p. Wojtka za oddanie się pasji i ułożenie sobie życia z pasją na pierwszym planie. kosztem związków i dzieci ale pozostał.sobie wierny i żył pełną parą po swojemu. i nikt przez niego nie zginął. fascynujące historie wspinaczek, ciekawe portrety innych znanych wspinaczy. aż by się chciało spróbować wspinaczki w Himalajach
