This book is so helpful
As someone who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community, I can tell you that relationships can be very non traditional for us, and this audiobook addresses every issue that could arise in these types of relationships. I'm incredibly impressed with the depth of information this author covers, including communication, how to address issues with family, legal considerations, and even protecting yourself and your rights in your relationship. I feel like this is a must-read for everyone. Even if you are not in a relationship like this, this information will help you be more accepting and tolerant of others in less traditional relationships.

Great comprehensive guide!!
This book helps guide individuals through the challenges of mixed orientation marriage. I loved that the book focused on positive solutions that took the feelings of everyone involved into account (both partners, kids, etc.). It provides advice for what to do regardless if the marriage stays together or separate: very comprehensive guide explained very well, and very compassionate. The perfect resource for anyone navigating this situation or wanting to learn about its complexities.

Inspiring
I just finished listening to this! The strategies for emotional resilience were super helpful. They didn’t sugarcoat anything but instead gave real, actionable advice on how to stay strong and supportive of one another. The sections on identity exploration were eye-opening too. It really made me realize how important it is to keep discovering who you are, even when you’re in a committed relationship.
The legal and financial advice was also on point. These are areas that can get pretty complicated, and having clear, straightforward guidance was a relief. It’s stuff we all need to know but often don’t have the resources for. It’s thoughtful, comprehensive, and full of heart.

Interesting perspective and insight
The author provides good perspective and insight into challenges faced when orientations do not align or meet traditional norms. I found the book extremely insightful in expanding my empathy toward couples navigating all of the elements associated with these challenges. I appreciated the author's inclusion of factors, such as implications for family dynamics and legal considerations. This is a great book for those couples working through mixed orientation relationships and also for those wanting to strengthen allyship through broader perspective.
