About this listen
DEEP BENEATH THE STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO, a murder victim is dumped at an archaeological dig. A note pinned to his shirt warns we will bury you.
The question is, who is you?
Desperate to learn what happened—and what might happen next—investigators bring in forensic geologists Cassie Oldfield and Walter Shaws. They have a reputation for reading the rocks with an X-ray eye, and unlocking a case.
The key to this case is finding out where the victim took his final steps. Tracking mud from his boots, the geologists follow the mineral trail to a startling site at the city's wild edge.
As they rush to learn the connection between this unlikely place and the dig on the other side of the city, they unearth the meaning of we will bury you.
Word by alarming word.

Another Great Geology Mystery!
I love these stories in the Forensic Geology Series with Walter and Cassie. This story has them looking into a murder in San Fransisco. As with the rest of the series, there is a lot of excitement, intrigue and twists and turns in this story. The narration by Nellie Scott was great and made the Audiobook enjoyable to listen to. I look forward to Toni Dwiggins’ next book.

Another good one in this series! I always wonder what Cassie and Walter will be doing next! In here they are at an archeological dig and everything goes downhill from there. I love their enthusiasm and desire to get the right answers. Nellie Scott does the narration and really helps bring these characters out. I enjoy these and look forward to more.

Another great mystery audiobook
I love these audiobooks by Toni Dwiggins! Completely invested in the characters since I followed them the whole series. I was totally off about guessing who was guilty in this one. Loved listening start to finish with minimal interruptions while on a trip.

Geology/Mystery
This one took me a little bit to get into. I don't know if I was just not as engaged or wasn't ready for all the knowledge that was being discussed. But I stuck with it and it was definitely full of twist and turns. I didn't see the ending coming. If you like a thriller then you should enjoy this one.

Another great intellectually-stimulating mystery!
I am extremely pleased with this latest case in the Forensic Geology series. This time the forensic geologists Cassie and Walter are investigating a murder in San Francisco and exploring the geology on the wild edge of the continent. The geology and geography are wonderfully accurate. I loved the exciting developments, twists I didn’t see coming, spelunking, archaeology, and danger for my favorite investigators. The writing was superb, and the narration was perfect, elevating the action and the intelligent plot to another level. Once I started this book, I didn’t want to stop. I also loved how all the plot threads were wonderfully wrapped up at the end. I totally recommend this book and the series to all mystery fans, especially to those who enjoy science.
