Powerful Tools
This book is a great tool to start moving on from a tough relationship. Leslie and Kim Gowans have such a compassionate way of explaining the steps to heal and truly find yourself again. I felt seen and supported
The guidance on self-love and reclaiming self-worth was interesting for me. Breaking the Cycle
So true that we tend to repeat things that we are comfortable with or that we have grown up with whether they are good for us or not. This book helps you break the cycle of toxicity in your life. The author does a great job of using examples to bring awareness to how you may be in a repeat cycle in our lives. Great book, feeling better about life
I was in a super toxic relationship for years and I didn't even know for a while. Once I came to the realization that this is not normal loving behavior I got out but all the verbal abuse and yelling still stuck with me. I needed some help and found this audiobook. I am loving the book, the author is talking directly to me and I appreciate that. The information is easy to follow and understand. I appreciate all the hard work put into this book.

How to relearn self-care and relationships
What makes this book special is how it breaks down recovery into manageable steps. It's not just about "getting over" someone - it dives into understanding patterns, rebuilding self-trust, and creating healthy boundaries.
The author gets how messy and non-linear healing can be, and that's so refreshing.
