 Le nom de cette toute jeune fille, née en 1929, arrêtée sur dénonciation en 1944 déportée à Auschwitz, puis à Bergen-Belsen, et morte du typhus en mars 1945, est connu dans le monde entier : Anne Frank est devenue le symbole des victimes des idéologies racistes, du nazisme à l'apartheid. Elle a tenu son journal du 12 juin 1942 au 1er août 1944, et ce texte, classé 19ème parmi les 100 meilleurs livres du XXème siècle, reste l'un des plus émouvants sur la vie quotidienne d'une famille juive sous le joug nazi.

Bof...

J'ai été déçue par ce livre. C'est insipide... Je comprends la portée historique de ce journal, mais je n'ai pas été impressionnée par ce que j'ai entendu. Ça manquait d'action... Je le conseille seulement aux gens que cette époque passionne, mais certainement pas comme roman. De plus, j'ai détesté la narration. Les intonations étaient monotones et bizarres. Il n'y avait pratiquement pas d'émotions dans la lecture de ce récit pourtant émotif. Peut-être que ça ne m'a pas aidée à apprécier l'ouvrage... dommage.
