The real stories behind the scenery of America’s national parks. For 12 years, Andrea Lankford lived in the biggest, most impressive national parks in the world, working a job she loved. She chaperoned baby sea turtles on their journey to sea. She pursued bad guys on her galloping patrol horse. She jumped into rescue helicopters bound for the heart of the Grand Canyon. She won arguments with bears. She slept with a few too many rattlesnakes. Hell yeah, it was the best job in the world! Fortunately, Andrea survived it.

Story
The “mountain men” were the hunters and trappers who fiercely strode the Rocky Mountains in the early to mid-1800s. They braved the elements in search of the skins of beavers and other wild animals, to sell or barter for goods. The lifestyle of the mountain men could be harsh, existing as they did among animals, and spending most of their days and nights living and camping out in the great unexplored wilds of the Rockies.

MacLeod and her husband, George, encountered their dream while vacationing on a remote island in the Scottish Hebrides. Enthralled by its windswept beauty, they soon were the proud and startled owners of a near-derelict croft house - a farmer’s stone cottage - on “a small acre” of land. For 30 years, drummer, author, and songwriter Neil Peart had wanted to write a book about "the biggest journey of all in my restless existence: the life of a touring musician." Finally, the right time, and the right tour. In the summer of 2004, after three decades, 20 gold albums, and thousands of performances, the band Rush embarked on a 30th Anniversary World Tour. The "R30" tour traveled to nine countries, where the band performed 57 shows for more than half a million fans. Uniquely, Peart chose to do his between-show traveling by motorcycle, riding 21,000 miles of back roads.

Arabic Conversational Language Made Easy
The listener is advised to practice the Arabic response by repeating it aloud. This helps with mastering the language with a dialect that connects with citizens of the country and retention. This book starts with general greetings when meeting a male or female. It is organized in helpful chapters with how to ask for help with lodging, shopping, dining, transportation and if you should need medical attention to name a few. The memorable part of this book is learning how to set up mobile connection. We all depend on our smartphones and internet connection every day. Having this valuable information is very helpful to know how to ask questions to get connected. The book resonates with me because the author designed it with quick and easy reference by chapter to search for information quickly. I highly recommend this book for first-time travelers.

Useful
This audiobook focuses on the Levantine dialect, so you’ll pick up phrases and vocab that locals in Palestine, Jordan, and Syria actually use. It tells how to speak confidently. The lessons are for real-life interactions, so you can actually use what you learn when you’re out and about. The repetition and practical examples really help the phrases stick, and before you know it, you’ll be having basic conversations without feeling lost. It’s convenient to listen to while you’re doing other stuff, like commuting or working out.

Levantine Arabic wit an easy way to learn it
Having roots in Jordania from my grandparents but with a considerable lack of speaking Arabic, I’ve always wanted to connect more with friends from the region, and this book made it much easier. The essential phrases and vocabulary are practical and perfect for daily interactions, from greetings to navigating markets. I loved how the lessons are broken down into manageable chunks, making practicing a little each day easy. The narration is clear and helpful, with native speakers demonstrating pronunciation, which gave me the confidence to start speaking right away. It’s been a game-changer for my conversations and has made me feel more connected to my culture.

An Excellent Resource
Most language books don't really teach you how to speak a language in terms that are useful. While mastering a language may be preferable, it is unlikely that most people have the time to do it. This book is great because it teaches you everyday conversational Arabic, which is actually useful while traveling or conversing with someone who does speak the language. This book teaches you how to address someone properly, how to ask for directions, how to socialize, and much, much more. It is easy to understand, and listening in the car is fun.
