Kelly Bradley is convinced she doesn't need to worry about falling in love when she comes up with her plan to marry Jack Sutton. She's dated so many great guys over the years, but hasn't fallen in love once. Not with any of them. It just isn't in the cards for her. So, when she approaches powerful, sexy Jack Sutton and proposes a temporary marriage-of-convenience, she's not one bit concerned that her heart will be on the line.
Jack Sutton is used to having control over things, having things go his way. Things in his life aren't supposed to spin out of control. But Kelly Bradley flips his world upside-down and has him wanting more than he'd ever thought he would have. And, just when he realizes he wants a real marriage with Kelly, Jack finds himself racing to save the woman he loves.
Before Jack and Kelly know it, not only are their hearts on the line, but Kelly's life is, too.
Legal Ease is book one of the Sutton Capital Series. It can be read as a stand-alone book.

Hockey coach Ashley Jaswal doesn't take nonsense from anyone … except her overbearing and superstitious family. They believe she's a good luck charm for her brother Jas, the newest Vancouver Canucks draft pick, forcing Ash to attend all his games as he rises up the NHL ranks, sacrificing her personal life (not that she has one—who decided hockey season needed to be 10 months long anyway?). Great start
I really enjoyed this story and will be looking into the other books in the series. The narrator kept me interested and did a good job with the voice change overs. I'm becoming a big fan of Audibles. It keeps me more interested then if I read it myself + I have cognitive and eye problems so this is much easier more me.

Legal Ease by Lori Ryan!
Would you consider the audio edition of Legal Ease to be better than the print version?
They are about the same. The story is what I love. Although because I read so fast having the story read to me helps me not miss anything and to remember the story better once I'm done.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I love Jack Sutton. He is just a guy! He is a take charge kind of guy but is so romantic with Kelly. Both Jack and Kelly were very strong characters in this story. This story will stay with me a long time.
Which character – as performed by Joey Pepin – was your favorite?
Jack! He really does a great job with all the characters. I have decided I like a male performing in the audio books over the female!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I got all teary when he was sending Kelly the flowers and trying to let her know how special she was. Also when he rescued her from the bad guys!
Any additional comments?
Lori Ryan's stories are more than just romance fluff. She always adds a bit of a mystery bad guy in the plot which acts a bit of extra to the story!

It was an okay story and okay narration.
I thought this was an okay story. Nothing really exciting or memorable to speak of. I liked the concept of the story and but I thought it could have been better. Seemed to lack any substance to be honest.
There was a couple sex scenes that were well written, not erotica or BDSM.
There was plenty of dialogue and I like lots of dialogue so there is that.
The plot seemed to be undeveloped and an ending thrown in that was never part of the story, kind of just random to try and make the story more dangerous or something but it didn't work well. No lead up, no rhyme or reason for that short part of the book. Really could have been written better.
The narration was just okay. I think I just didn't care for the narrator's voice for the hero. I thought he could have done a sexier voice. He did okay on the female voices so that is good.
I don't feel the need to read the next book in the series so I am moving on to something else.
I did get this free on amazon and 1.99 audible whispersync which is a bonus. Glad I didn't pay anymore than that for it.

Wonderful story. I liked the premise. The characterization is excellent. The twists were interesting. I appreciated it hit on the growing problem of human trafficking and one of the ways of calling attention to a problem.

Nice..
Any additional comments?
For the most part this was a good book. A little immature and a little cheesy and repetitive but still entertaining. What I liked most about the book was the sexual tension through the whole book. Not just a sudden “let’s screw” but a wanting, a need on both their parts. That part was very good and would make me want to read more from this author. I read a lot and it’s nice to find an author who knows how to write about chemistry between a man and woman. They had sex several times but it wasn’t as good as the sexual tension, and that’s alright with me. If the book has sexual tension I don’t even care if it has sex.
I think what made this a good story was when it became a kidnapping and how everyone worked as one to get Kelly back: Jack, Andrew, Chad, Aunt Mabry, Mrs. Poole and Kelly’s family. The book went from a simple love story to a mystery/suspense.
Yeah, it could have been better but, overall, I liked it. I didn’t find myself zipping through pages or chapters trying to find something worth reading and that’s saying something.
As to the narrator: Ms. Pepin did an OK job. He sounded a little masculine when Jack and Kelly made love, for both of them. His emotions were pretty good but he really needs to work on his female voices, especially when there's sex involved.

Good book
I enjoyed this book even though it was somewhat shallow. I usually don't finish the shallow ones, but I could stomach this one.

No substance...
This book is the cotton candy of romance novels. There was very little to it, it was sickly sweet, no real flavor and not at all fulfilling. If all you're looking for is background noise while you do something else, this will suffice. If you want something more than that, look elsewhere.
