The audio book is narrated by an acclaimed actor Saša Tabaković and directed by Ana Krauthaker. The audio book is a sequel of the crime novel The Lake about police inspector Taras Birsa. The body of a woman is discovered in a small park in the centre of Ljubljana. She has been shot in the head. A day later a man dies in the same way in another part of town. Are the murders linked? Ljubljana is sweltering in a heat wave, a new government is being set up in Slovenia after recent elections, and even without this, police inspector Taras Birsa is having enough troubles of his own.
