Author Fair hits all the marks in his book about An attempt by The Russian government and military to cripple the US economy by overwhelming the healthcare system thus weakening military support. This as a great read including drama, espionage, intrigue and even a love interest. While I usually prefer to read a book, narrater Marshall does a excellent job representing a great array of characters portrayed in the book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an exciting page turner.

Lethal Light takes you on a journey weaving geology, romance, intrigue, and Russian espionage through California, Green Bay (Go Pack) and Iceland. Although the selected reader’s skills and talents fell short and didn’t enhance the potential of the story I would still commend the author on its book’s readability.

I normally gravitate to historical novels but after reading my third book in a row on General George Washington, I needed a change. Lethal Light provided that escape with a contemporary story that at times seemed unbelievable but in today’s world, why not?! This adventure centers around a small group of US military veterans who stumble on a sinister Russian plot to silently harm American citizens. With much of the action occurring in Iceland, there is drama, intrigue and even some romance - what more could you want. If you enjoy military, techno-fiction, Gordon Fair’s book is a fun read/listen.

I relish stories that have big themes, major consequences AND are plausible. Lethal Light fills the bill with a NEW world-destructive WW III-triggering event (to join nukes, chemical/germ warfare, cyberterrorism, et al). That it is within the realm of possibility magnifies the suspense. The narration is a bit off-putting at first, but you come to enjoy it as the audiobook leads to a most satisfying conclusion!
