About this listen

Welcome! If you are considering homeschooling, seeking new ideas to entertain your two to four-year-old, or just interested in something other than hide ‘n’ seek with your little one, you’re in the right place!

Inside this book, you’ll find lesson plans with themed weeks and themed days, developmental checklists, a list of national celebratory days for inspiration, and a boredom buster list that, when all else fails, may have the answer! Oh, and as if that’s not enough, I also included a quarterly bonus game you can play with your child.

The lessons and activities use the CATCH curriculum, developed based on practices found in STEM/STEAM education, Montessori methods, Waldorf-Steiner educational practices, my philosophies, and more. It is aptly named CATCH as a ‘catch-all’ for what I believe is essential in early childhood education and learning through play.

Everyone does things differently in their home. But as parents and caregivers, we can only play pretend or Candyland so many times before we start losing brain cells. And if you’ve ever wished you had an idea of something new to try or break up the monotony, this might be what you’re looking for! And if I can help you, I’ve done my part here in the Village.

Happy Play Educating!
