 Lewis, a young lion, grows up alongside his friend, Louise, in the heart of Kenya, the Maasai Mara. King Leo and Queen Leona have ruled the plains for many years and teach Lewis how to be a great king someday. However, the young cub Tuku wants revenge for the death of his father at the paws of Leo. Only slightly older than Lewis, he plots their deaths alongside his mother and a young lioness, Star, who is utterly devoted to him, despite him being in a relationship with Louise. This causes her to become insane with jealousy, so joins the plot if Louise dies too. Lewis gets into a fight with Tuku and they both end up permanently scarred on their faces. As Lewis grows and learns how to be King, Tuku furthers his murderous plot to kill the entire royal family and take his own place on the throne. Fantasy Royalty Africa
