About this listen

Varus the Elder Lich wanted nothing more than to spend eternity writing novels. He cared nothing for the fame or money, and never cared much about the total lack of company in his country cottage. He had his characters and that was plenty. Was, plenty. Until a chance interruption to his work brings some unexpected company into his unlife.

It would take all his patience, all his wisdom, and more than a little of his sense of humor, to learn that sometimes being interrupted...

Isn't so bad.

Heart warming father and daughters fantasy story

I have always had a soft spot for the single father figure taking care of his daughter, and this story hits it so very well. The main character has been alone for so long with just his stories and memories of friends. But when he finds the 2 girls they ignite his undead heart with feelings showing there are things more important than your own personal interests.
It made me tear up at the wholesomeness of it all. If you are looking for a more slice of life story, after the hero saved the world story than give it a read.
