About this listen

Osho describes how our goal orientation can never be satisfied. After power and sex, fame and fortune we can move on to enlightenment, finding God, whatever. How can we get out of the trap of desire and enjoy being alive?

Thank you for being here, I know this message is not needed, but it feels fun, hehehe!

If you like Osho, if you're familiar with his work, if you've ever listened to an Eastern meditation teacher, you'll likely find value and enjoyment in this recording.

Personally, I often find helpful gems of wisdom from Osho - ideas and values that have raised my quality of living. As one who has read more than listened to this teacher, the opportunity to hear his voice (and live audience) was a delight

But it isn't for everyone. Production value is far below expectations set by digital production. He speaks slowly, with distinct pauses, as if waiting for just the right words to surface before speaking. (Also, with a pronounced Indian accent. Try the sampler.) The 21st century Western mind might need some adjusting to this recording. For some, the books created from his talks might be more accessible.

It's Osho, live, recorded in the 70's
